CREW PROFILE: Tommy Lythgoe

In the NASCAR world, a crew member is the backbone of any team that helps a driver achieve success on the track. Often times the person leading the way behind the scenes is the crew chief and/or car owner. In the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour, this person is often a family member or friend who just wants to help his or her driver win.

This week’s profile features Tommy Lythgoe, car owner and up until recently, crew chief of the driver of the No. 02 T & C Motorsports Chevrolet driven by Buddy Emory, who happens to be his brother-in-law.
