Six-Packed Weekend at “The Magic Mile”

Loudon, NH — New Hampshire Motor Speedway becomes the center of the motorsports universe this week. Six races will highlight an action packed weekend at “The Magic Mile,” starting today.

Today kicks off a weekend full of racing action at the speedway with the K&N Pro Series East New Hampshire 125 beginning at 5:00 p.m. Brett Moffitt leads the way, followed by teammate Max Gresham, and Kevin Swindell.

Saturday’s triple header features NASCAR’s Whelen Modified Tour F.W. Webb 100 with pole sitter Ryan Newman leading the way. After the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series TheRaceDayRaffleSeries.com 175, where Mass. native Eddie MacDonald will make his truck debut behind the wheel of the No. 71 Grimm Construction Ford. Finishing off an action packed Saturday will be the American-Canadian Series Invitational. Eddie will be pulling triple duty this weekend beginning today with the New Hampshire 125 in NASCAR’s K&N Pro Series East, tomorrow with TheRaceDayRaffleSeries.com 175 in NASCAR’s Camping World Truck Series, and the American-Canadian Series Invitational.

One of the fastest growing divisions of motorsports, the U.S. Legend Car’s are sure to put on a great show during pre-race activities prior to the start of the SYLVANIA 300, on the newly constructed .25-mile U.S. Legends track in turns one and two of the 1.058-mile oval.

The “Chase for the Sprint Cup” tops off the weekend on Sunday bringing NASCAR’s top-12 in a heated battle for the number one spot. Denny Hamlin leads the way just 10 points in front of three time NHMS winner Jimmie Johnson.
