Ride Your Bike on NHMS in Safe Kids 500

Loudon, NH — Bicycles will replace race cars tonight at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, during the seventh annual Safe Kids 500, presented by Hannaford Supermarket beginning at 5 p.m.

The Safe Kids 500 is a free, fun, family event that gives children the opportunity to race around “The Magic Mile” on their bikes.

“Families are the foundation of everything we do, and I am so excited to open the gates of New Hampshire Motor Speedway to kids, for some fun and exercise,” said Jerry Gappens, executive vice president and general manager of the speedway.

Milo, New Hampshire’s beloved mascot will be at the track for bike safety and helmet checks. Healthy snacks will also be available for those who work up an appetite riding around the speedway.

Registration begins at 5 p.m. For more information please visit http://newhampshire.speedwaycharities.org/.
