Stafford Springs, CT — Stafford Motor Speedway has announced the following penalty following the running of the May 6 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series feature events.

Zach Aszklar, driver of the No. 28 SK Light Modified, has been penalized for a rules violation committed this past Friday at Stafford Motor Speedway.

Aszklar has been penalized from his first place finishing position to the last place finishing position of 21st place for violating rule 20-12.8.2 (minimum ground clearance requirement) of the 2011 Stafford Motor Speedway SK Light Modified rulebook.

The violation occurred during the SK Light feature.

Also, after a review of timing and scoring from the SK Modified® feature event, the No. 29 car of Brian Sullivan has been adjusted from the 20th finishing position to the 17th finishing position.
