CARQUEST Auto Parts Returns for 28th Consecutive Season at SMS; Adds Third Whelen Modified Tour Event
Stafford Springs, CT — For over a quarter century, CARQUEST Auto Parts has been partners in racing with Stafford Motor Speedway developing one of the longest running associations anywhere in motorsports. The 28th consecutive season is in high gear and set to take the green flag with the 42nd Annual CARQUEST Tech-Net Spring Sizzler on the weekend of April 26-28. The storied history between CARQUEST and Stafford began with CARQUEST as a contingency sponsor in 1985 and the relationship has continued to flourish over the years. CARQUEST Auto Parts, the Elite Corporate Sponsor of Stafford Motor Speedway will continue its winning ways in 2013 with the addition of title sponsorship of the August Whelen Modifed Tour event, the 23rd Annual CARQUEST 150 on August 2nd.
In addition to the August CARQUEST 150, CARQUEST Auto Parts will present the 42nd Annual CARQUEST Tech-Net Spring Sizzler on April 26-28, the 3rd Annual CARQUEST Champions For Charities race on June 28, the 10th Annual CARQUEST Super Saturday on June 29, and the 40th Annual CARQUEST Fall Final Weekend on Sept. 28-29. CARQUEST Auto Parts will also present the CARQUEST Belts and Hose Pit Parties that accompany the CARQUEST Tech-Net Spring Sizzler and CARQUEST Fall Final events, allowing race fans on track to meet and greet with their favorite drivers and teams.
