Shark Cycle of Stafford Springs Returning as Title Sponsor of Stafford Speedway VMRS Shark Cycle 80
Stafford Springs, CT — Stafford Motor Speedway has announced that Shark Cycle of Stafford Springs will return as the title sponsor of the track’s Shark Cycle 80 Valenti Modified Racing Series race on August 30. The 2013 season will be the fourth consecutive year that Shark Cycle has sponsored the VMRS event at Stafford, a relationship that began with Shark Cycle sponsoring the very first MRS race to be held at Stafford in September 2010.
“This will be our fourth season sponsoring the Modified Racing Series event at Stafford, and we really enjoy working with the track,” said Shark Cycle Owner Bob Charland. “The relationship we’ve had with Stafford Speedway for the past three seasons has been a great partnership for us, we’ve received a lot of positive feedback in the showroom from our involvement with Stafford. Our line of Victory Motorcycles and Polaris ATV’s and Snowmobiles have never been hotter and we’ve seen huge growth due to Victory’s cutting edge bikes and with all of our Polaris products as well.”
Before the Shark Cycle 80 takes the green flag in August at Stafford, Shark Cycle will be busy this weekend at Stafford Speedway’s Spring Motorcycle Swap Meet. Shark Cycle will have a display with Victory Motorcycle demo rides available to licensed and experienced motorcycle riders.
“Weather permitting, we’ll have Victory motorcycle demo rides this Sunday,” said Charland. “Riders need to have the proper motorcycle license and they need to be experienced riders. We’ll have a 5-mile loop set up where customers can take one of our Victory motorcycles out on the street for a test drive.”
And the Motorcycle Swap Meet is not all that Shark Cycle will be doing to give riders a first hand look at their line of Victory motorcycles and Polaris products. Beginning on Saturday, May 4th, Shark Cycle will host open houses every Saturday throughout the summer, weather permitting, with Victory demo rides and food served at the Shark Cycle showroom.
Shark Cycle’s Stafford Springs showroom is located at 11 Willington Ave. and it is stocked with Victory Motorcycles, Polaris and Arctic Cat ATVs, Rangers, Prowlers and Snowmobiles. “We just signed an agreement with Arctic Cat to carry Wild Cat side-by-sides,” said Charland. “It’s a high performance side-by-side which will compliment our current product lines nicely, and we will have them in our store Mid-May!”
Shark Cycle has financing programs available and they will ship recreational vehicles anywhere in the United States. Shark Cycle’s Service Department is staffed with full-time certified and experienced service technicians with extensive experience diagnosing and servicing Motorcycles, ATVs, Snowmobiles, and Dirt Bikes. Tickets for the Shark Cycle Valenti Modified Racing Series event are available and on sale now at the SMS Box Office. Tickets are priced at $27.50 for Adult General Admission, $5.00 for Children Ages 6-14 General Admission, and $30.00 for Reserved Seating.
