Boston Louie: Hirschman, Wells, Coby, Stergios & Pitkat Win at Seekonk

SEEKONK, MA — On Sunday, Seekonk Speedway hosted the Boston Louie Memorial Classic presented by by Krazie Korlacki Speed Equipment. In the $5,000-to-win SK Modified/SK Light Modified 75-lap feature, Matt Hirschman of Northampton, PA took down the win over Keith Rocco, Kyle James, Matt Galko and Tyler Chadwick. Doug Coby, Joey Gada, Ryan Preece, Eric Berndt, and Tommy Barrett, Jr.

In the 50-lap Northeast Mini Stock Tour feature, Toby Wells of Dublin, ME made it back to back wins on the weekend after a victory at Waterford last night. Ricky Labrecque was second over Emerson Cayer, Danny Field and Barry Shaw, Jr. Sixth place finisher Sixth place Pete Zakarite was the last car on the lead lap. Desmond Skillings, Chris Williams, Justin King and Mitchell Bombard rounded out the top-10.

The 29-lap NEMA Midget feature saw a first time winner in defending NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion Doug Coby of Milford, CT over teammate Randy Cabral, John Zych, Ian Cumens and Todd Bertrand. Greg Stoehr, Anthony Marvuglio, Joey Payne, Russ Stoehr and Bethany Stoehr rounded out the top-10.

In the companion NEMA Lites 29-lap feature, PJ  Stergios of Candia, NH scored the second victory of the weekend for #11 after his brother Jake captured he win at Lee USA on Friday night. Andy Barrows was second, followed by Anthony Nocella, Ian Cummens, and Avery Stoehr. Danny Cugini, Randy Cabral, Kevin Hutchens, Carl Medieros, Jr., and Brandon Igo rounded out the top-10.

In the 25-lap Pro 4 Modified feature, Woody Pitkat of Stafford Springs, CT picked up his first career Seekonk victory.
