Penalty Announced from July 12th NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Program at Stafford Motor Speedway

Stafford Springs, CT — Stafford Motor Speedway has announced the following penalty following the running of the July 12th NASCAR Whelen All-American Series feature events.

Rowan Pennink, driver of the No. 89 SK Modified®, has been penalized for a rules violation committed this past Friday at Stafford Motor Speedway.

Pennink has been penalized from his fourth place finish in the 42- lap SK Modified feature and placed to last (20th) and fined 12 points for violating rule 20E-14.1 Brake Components (Unapproved Brake Parts) of the 2013 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series SK Modified® rulebook.

The violation was discovered in post-race inspection following the SK Modified® feature on Friday, July 12th.
