Valenti Modified Racing Series Announces New Tire Compound, Bonus Points for 2014
The Valenti Modified Racing Series of Canaan, NH has agreed on a new right rear tire compound for 2014.
Another change for next season will involve the points system. Drivers will receive two bonus points for leading a lap and the driver leading the most laps will receive five bonus points.
This will be the second points change in as many seasons for the Valenti Modified Racing Series. Last July, the series added points for the top-five drivers in each heat race. Five points are awarded to the heat race winner, decreasing by one point per position back to fifth place.
