Penalty Announced from NAPA Spring Sizzler Weekend NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Program at Stafford Motor Speedway
Stafford Springs, CT — Stafford Motor Speedway has announced the following penalty following the running of the April 26-27 NAPA Spring Sizzler NASCAR Whelen All-American Series feature events.
Rowan Pennink, driver of the No. 99 SK Modified®, has been penalized for a rules violation committed this past Sunday at Stafford Motor Speedway.
Pennink has been penalized from his third place finish in the 40-lap SK Modified feature and placed to last place (29th) and fined 44 points for violating rule 20E-12.3 Coil Over Shocks of the 2014 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series SK Modified® rulebook.
The violation was discovered in post-race inspection following the SK Modified® feature on Sunday, April 27th.
