Darling, Pavia, Berthelette and Estrella Claim Checkers Saturday Night

SEEKONK, MA — Dylan Estrella took over the lead when leader Nick Lascoula broke with just seven laps remaining to pick up his second Late Model win of the season. Bobby Pelland III was second, Gerry DeGasparre Jr third, Charlie Rose fourth and Charlie Rose fifth.

Dave Darling inherited the top spot on a restart with two laps remaining when Fred Astle spun while leading after contact from Mike Brightman. Kevin Casper finished second, with Ryan Lineham, Kenny Spencer and Joe Koehler third through fifth.

Gerard Berthelette picked up his first win of the season, holding off Stephen Potter for the final ten laps. Potter ended up second with Ed Gannon III, Bobby Bettencourt and Ray Lovelace rounding out the top five.

John Paiva won the Sport Truck feature, keeping his truck smooth through the final half of the race. Rob Murphy was second, with Mike Cavallaro, Lenny Guy and Joey Wakefield third through fifth.
