Bonus money is adding up for the Alpine Building Supply Short Track SuperNationals 7 presented by Olum’s Friday-Saturday Oct. 10-11 at I-88 Speedway in Afton, N.Y.

I-88 Speedway is approximately 25 miles northeast of Binghamton and is a ‘doable’ drive from Syracuse for fans and racers. I-88 presents plentiful parking, camping with hookups, a spacious pit area, transponder scoring and more amenities.

This is the richest SuperNationals in event history paying $5,000-plus to win, $1,000 for 10th and $600 to take the green flag, plus a fully paid B-Main for non-qualifiers offering $777 to the winner, $175 for 10th and $100 to take the green flag.

Andy Bachetti’s race toward a $10,014 Short Track Super Series Fueled By VP championship has one road block: Danny Johnson. The pair are tied for the point lead entering the finale event!

Crunchco Snacks was the most recent to sign on, posting $111 to the 11th-place finisher in the 50-lap Modified main event. That means 11th-place will now pay $861.

More than $1,200 in lap money has already been collected, including the $700 Halfway Leader cash for lap 25 from Dale and Sue Smith and Steve Survilla. Behrent’s Performance Warehouse will be posting $50 gift cards for fourth and ninth. Allstar Performance has offered $50 certificates for third and eighth. Lias Tire/American Racer offers a pair of tires to be given away via random draw of the 6th-10th and 11th-15th finishers.  Hoosier Racing Tire has offered up a pair of tires to give away.  Shiley Fabrication has signed on for a Hard Luck Award of bumpers and rubrails.

Registration is open now for Modifieds, Sportsman and Crate 602 Sportsman. There will be free pass and cash drawings for early entrants filing their forms prior to Oct. 1. An information center has been set up on the event website.
