Lowinski-Loh to Make ARCA Debut Friday

Former Thompson Champion Plans Full ARCA Slate in 2015

John Lowinski-Loh, Jr. will make his ARCA Racing Series debut at Kansas Speedway  on Friday night. The Milford, MA competitor will be drive the No. 09  Auto Go Ford for Team BCR Racing of Mooresville, NC. Auto Go, Inc. is a automotive repair business in Milford. His teammate Charles Evans, Jr. of Friendswood, TX is entered in the No. 88 Elevator Transportation Services, ACCI Ford. The team is owned by Howard and Paula Bixman and has won five races this season with Grant Enfinger and Justin Allison.

Teddy, Steve, Clint and Brad are the crew members, while the team uses a Cup team for the pit stops. Treats Pools and Spas, Shines Car Care, Greenroom Billiards, Casite, Stanley Industries, Ford Racing, Roush Yates provide sponsorship.

Lowinski-Loh’s goal is to qualify and finish in the top 10. Lowinski-Loh will complete full-time in 2015 for Team BCR looking for Rookie of the Year.   Lowinski-Loh tested at Kansas on September 3. Although the test was cut short by rain, he was sixth quickest of 16 cars. Lowinski-Loh said the test “went great.” He said the recently repaved 1.5 mile tri-oval was “very fast and smooth.”

ARCA is “very competitive,” according to Lowinski-Loh. “We are all former champions and are there to become one of the best, but it’s clean competition and respectful.” Lowinski-Loh said the support from local fans has been “unbelievable.” He encourages his fans to visit his Facebook page to keep up with promotions, including t-shirt giveaways and prizes.

Lowinski-Loh will be helping local teams as well. He will be working as a crew member and spotter for the No. 4 SK Modified of Brad Caddick at Waterford Speedbowl. He will be the crew chief for Joey Parker’s Sunoco Modified for the World Series at Thompson.  

Lowinski-Loh has driven his No. 20 Late Model at Seekonk, Thompson and Waterford this season.  He won his first Late Model race at Thompson last year. He won 10 races en route to the 2012 Thompson Modified championship.
