Southern Super Series Finale to Broadcast Live on 51 TV

In each of the Southern Super Series presented by Sunoco’s first two seasons, the championship battle was not settled until the last lap of the last race. This year, all signs are pointing to another drama-filled season finale for the widely-popular Super Late Model tour in 2015 when the final race takes place at Pensacola, Florida’s Five Flags Speedway on September 26.

While fans at the track will surely be on their feet as drivers vie for one last checkered flag and one driver brings home the championship hardware, a worldwide audience will be able to watch it as well with a live 51 TV broadcast on Speed51.com, which will be presented free of charge by PFC Brakes.

“The season championship is poised to go down to the wire once again, so we think September 26 will be a night full of intense racing with lots of drama, so it will make for a can’t-miss live broadcast on 51 TV,” said Tim Bryant, Series Director of the Southern Super Series. “With the trend of live video being the future of exposure for short track racing, we’re proud to offer this broadcast free of charge to our out-of-state fans thanks to PFC.

“We expect a packed house of area-based fans at the speedway for the finale and this will be a great way for fans out of the region to be able to witness all live as well.”

This event will have a 200-mile blackout (driving distance) from Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, FL. The blackout will include the cities of Montgomery, AL to the north, Mobile, AL and New Orleans LA to the west and Tallahassee, FL to the east.

51 TV, the leader in live short track racing video broadcasts, produced the first live broadcast of Five Flags Speedway’s signature event, the Snowball Derby, last December. Thanks to PFC Brakes, fans across the globe will be able to witness all the fast, high-drama action from Five Flags’ final Super Late Model race of 2015 as the Southern Super Series’ championship event sets the table for this December’s 48th Annual Snowball Derby.

“When you combine an almost-guaranteed tight points race for the championship, plus possible provisionals up for grabs for the Snowball Derby for top Southern Super Series point runners, the September 26 race at Five Flags will be one of the most intense short track races of the season,” said Bob Dillner, founder and owner of 51 TV and Speed51.com. “PFC Brakes has been a great partner of 51 and the Southern Super Series and their involvement in making the broadcast free to fans all over the globe is a great step in exposure for the series, the track and Super Late Model racing as a whole.”

PFC Brakes, an industry leader in high-performance brake calipers, rotors and pads for a variety of racing disciplines including short track Super Late Model racing, will present the live broadcast to enhance the exposure of the teams competing in the Southern Super Series’ season finale at Five Flags.

“If I’m not able to be there, I want to be able to watch an exciting race like the September 26 Southern Super Series race will be, live on 51 TV,” said Chris Dilbeck, NASCAR Technical Sales representative for PFC Brakes. “The Snowball Derby, the Southern Super Series and everything they do at Five Flags is near and dear to me personally and to PFC as a whole. We’re proud to be able to make this broadcast happen to get even more exposure for the event, the track and the drivers that will be competing.”
