Ted Christopher Tapped for Thompson and Bristol
HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (AUGUST 10, 2015) – Our Motorsports has announced today that Ted Christopher will temporarily take over driving duties of the No. 22 Chevrolet as Keith Rocco continues to recover from a broken hand.
Christopher, the 2008 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Champion, is a 42-time winner on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) circuit.
“I’m looking forward to the opportunity to race with the Our Motorsports team,” said Christopher. “I have had a lot of success with Brad (Lafontaine, crew chief) at Thompson and we always had a good car.”
“Ted was a great fit for our team for these two races,” said team owner Chris Our. “His racing resume speaks for itself. Having worked with Brad before is an added plus. We’re looking forward to getting back on track Wednesday and then heading back to Bristol to defend our win from last year.”
Christopher and the Our Motorsports team will head to Thompson Speedway this Wednesday for the Budweiser King of Beers 150.
