Final NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week at NYSF this Weekend

October 7-11 will mark the end of an era at the New York State Fairgrounds. The 1-mile oval in Syracuse will host the final NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week on October 7-11. The event will move to the new Central New York Raceway Park in Hastings next season. The track that has hosted auto racing back to 1903 will be demolished to make way for renovations at the fairgrounds.

Super DIRTCar’s winningest driver Brett Hearn leads all drivers with six event wins. Gary Balough and Billy Decker share second with four victories. Alan Johnson and defending winner Stewart Friesen have three wins. Two-time winners include  Vic Coffey, Jimmy Horton, Danny Johnson, Jack Johnson, inaugural winner Buzzie Reutimann, and Merv Treichler. Kenny Brightbill, Frank Cozze, Billy Dunn, Tim Fuller (NY), Doug Hoffman, Bob McCreadie, Billy Osmun, Matt Sheppard, Toby Tobias, Toby Tobias, Jr.,  and Kenny Tremont, Jr. own one victory.
