Florida Fastruck secures motorsports agency to elevate Series

St. Petersburg, Florida – Though the 2015 race season for the Florida Fastruck Series is still ongoing, preparations for 2016 and beyond began today. It was announced that Driver Connection, a motorsports marketing and public relations firm, has been appointed by Florida Fastruck, to serve as its agency of record.

Making the announcement were Danny Anderson and JR Garcia; two Board members for the Florida Fastruck Series, and partners Rick Raducha and Rob Witham of Driver Connection.

Dan Anderson explained, “Our plan has always been to provide our racers with better events and purses. Rick Raducha and Rob Witham approached us with an opportunity that we feel could add to the ability and enjoyment of our Series. These guys believe in our racing and are willing to work to better it.”

Representing the Series going forward Driver Connection will immediately begin the search for title sponsors, product partners, and contingency awards.

“Our plan is to deliver marketing partners to the Florida Fastruck Series,” said Raducha, “providing it the power to distribute greater race event prizes, purse’ and a championship points fund to its competitors.

“Additionally, it will be important for us all to continue building the Brand that is Florida Fastruck. Like ARCA, NASCAR or ACT, maintaining the proper Series title and image will allow us all to improve the ability to secure sponsorships.”

Like many top Series, Fastruck is made-up of many strong drivers who have developed their skills in everything from Karts to Sprint cars. Equally diverse are the ages. Drivers from 14 to 52, both male and female, are in the field; delivering great races to race fans of every age.

Rob Witham added, “Having the combination of young and old drivers as we do, combined with a solid number of teams and tracks, gives the Florida Fastruck Series influence and strength that very few sponsorship opportunities can provide. As a united group, our collective power is greater.”

Witham continued, “I’m proud to now be part of the Fastruck Series and am looking forward to its future. We are here to help with ideas and plans to support the Series, its drivers, and teams.”
