Reutzel Ready for World of Outlaws at Devil’s Bowl

CLUTE, Texas (April 21, 2016) – After an idle weekend, reigning Lucas Oil ASCS National champion Aaron Reutzel is set to take on the best in the business with this weekend’s World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series double at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, TX.

It will mark the first pair of a half-dozen consecutive scheduled World of Outlaws events for Reutzel and the Shark-powered Dissolvalloy Downhole Revolution/BC Fundz No. 87 Triple-X Sprint Car team before ASCS National Tour action resumes at Kansas City’s Lakeside Speedway on May 5.

“We’re looking to put down a good qualifying lap each night and go from there,” Reutzel said of this weekend’s World of Outlaws season debut at the famed Devil’s Bowl Speedway.

This weekend will be Reutzel’s first WoO action atop the ½-mile Devil’s Bowl Speedway where he has seen frequent ASCS action in recent years aboard the Wren Motorsports/Momentum Racing Suspensions entry.

World of Outlaws events will follow at Little Rock’s I-30 Speedway on April 26, Oklahoma’s Salina Highbanks Speedway on April 29, Federated Auto Parts I-55 Raceway on April 30 and Illinois’ Jacksonville Speedway on May 4 for the Danny Sander Construction/ButlerBuilt team.

Reutzel made his World of Outlaws debut at the Salina Highbanks last year and raced to an eye-opening fourth-place finish.

The Clute, TX, racer comes off a pair of ASCS Regional wins in the Wright Way Logistics/Walker Performance Filtration machine in Gulf South action at the Gator Motorplex in Willis, TX, on April 2 and then a Gulf South vs. Southern Outlaw Sprints Showdown at Mississippi’s Jackson Motor Speedway on April 8.

2016 Quick Stats:  22 races, 2 wins, 6 top fives, 10 top-tens.

Up Next: World of Outlaws Sprint Cars at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, TX, on Friday and Saturday and Little Rock’s I-30 Speedway on Tuesday, April 26.
