Gdovic and Snyder Rally Their Lamborghini for an Impressive Podium Finish

Circuit Of The Americas, Austin, TX (May 5, 2017) – With the 24 Hours of Dubai, 24 Hours of Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring, and a Middle East TCR team championship under his belt already in 2017, Brandon Gdovic stepped in as the Pro to co-drive with AM Todd Snyder in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series at the 3.41 mile Circuit of the Americas. Gdovic and Snyder’s Lamborghini Huracan is fielded by DAC Motorsports from Quebec as a Pro-AM entry.

The challenge began as the number 46 ComServe Wireless, WindStax Lamborghini Huracan sat idle in the pits as the first of two qualifying rounds went green.  Snyder’s business commitments caused an expected late arrival to the race track causing him to miss qualifying and subsequently starting at the rear of a 22 car field.  In round two of qualifying, Gdovic battled a loose racecar to secure a 7th place starting position for race 2 of the weekend event.

After the DAC team made adjustments to the race car to improve the handling, Snyder started at the rear of the field in Race 1.  Todd immediately went to work advancing seven positions on the tricky 20 turn race track before he turned over the reins of the 620 HP Huracan to Gdovic during the mandatory driver change pit stop.

Gdovic, understanding the sense of urgency, started clicking off some of the fastest laps of the race as he methodically carved a path through the field. With the DAC Motorsports Team anxiously glued to the race monitors and video feeds, Gdovic overtook two competitors in the final laps of the race to secure a Podium finish for the team.

Gdovic and Snyder both expressed satisfaction with the day’s results and look forward to today’s race where Brandon will start in the 7th position.  It was also a successful day for the DAC Motorsports team as all 4 Lamborghinis finished in the top 3 of their respective classes.
