Claremont: One 2 Go – Race # 10 – 2nd Annual Race Against Cancer Event

Well, yet another rainout last week in a season plagued by the weather but those thoughts should all be washed away as this Friday night is right at the top of the most memorable nights of any race season. The speedway, its race teams and drivers, and the fans are working together to defeat cancer.

All four Newport Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series divisions – Casella Modifieds, R.E. Hinkley Super Streets, Pepsi Limited Sportsman, and T-Bird Mini Mart Wildcats – will all be racing to defeat cancer and support the Friends of Norris Cotton Cancer Center at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. Starting positions are determined by the amount of money each driver raised. Last year, 5 divisions participated in the night which raised $ 30,000 for the Friends of NCCC.

NASCAR-style driver introductions will take place beginning at 7 PM with racing to follow.

Budweiser will also be having promotional activities in the Beer Garden which opens at 6 PM.

Join us for a special night!
