Winchester Speedway Announces 2018 Labor Day Weekend and Winchester 400 Dates

Salem, IN (November 28, 2017) – Winchester Speedway owner Charlie Shaw has announced the 2018 dates for the very popular Labor Day Weekend World Stock Car Festival and the show no one wants to miss, the 47th Annual Winchester 400 Weekend. The Labor Day Weekend World Stock Car Festival will take place on September 2nd and September 3rd. The 47th Annual Winchester 400 Weekend will take place on October 12th, 13th and 14th.

All four Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS divisions will return to the famous High Banks of Winchester Speedway as part of the 2018 Labor Day Weekend World Stock Car Festival. All four CRA Divisions will practice and qualify and there will be preliminary events for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance, Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman and Lawrence Towing CRA Street Stocks on Sunday, September 2nd. The ARCA/CRA Super Series, Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman and Lawrence Towing CRA Street Stocks will all run feature events on Monday afternoon, September 3rd.

For 2018, the 47th Annual Winchester 400 Weekend has been moved a week later than events in recent years. With the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series October Charlotte Motor Speedway event moving to Sunday afternoon, Charlie Shaw decided to move the Winchester 400 Weekend back to its mid-October traditional date. With the change, Winchester 400 Weekend will not conflict with the ARCA Midwest Tour Oktoberfest event at LaCrosse Speedway and will be two weeks after the recent All American 400 date at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville.

The 47th Annual Winchester 400 Weekend will have preliminary events for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour, Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman and Lawrence Towing CRA Street Stocks on Friday, October 12th and Saturday, October 13th. The ARCA/CRA Super Series will once again sanction the running of the prestigious 47th Annual Winchester 400 on Sunday afternoon, October 14th.
