NAPA Fall Final this Weekend at Stafford

Stafford Springs, CT — Stafford Motor Speedway will host the 46th Annual NAPA Fall Final Weekend on Saturday and Sunday, September 29-30 to close out the 2018 NASCAR season of racing.  Along with the 5 NASCAR Whelen All American Series divisions, the NAPA Fall Final will include the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, Vintage All Stars, and the Ladies Challenge.

The NAPA Fall Final Weekend will kick off on Saturday, September 29 with practice sessions for the Whelen Modified Tour, Stafford’s NASCAR Whelen All-American Series divisions and the Vintage All Stars from 10:00 am to 2:15 pm.  The Whelen Modified Tour will take to the track for group qualifying at 2:30 pm with Stafford’s NWAAS divisions and Vintage All Stars qualifying to follow.  Feature events for the Street Stocks, Limited Late Models, Vintage All Stars and Ladies Challenge will conclude Saturday’s festivities.

The Ladies Challenge, a new addition to this year’s Saturday events, will showcase Street Stock cars driven by ladies that are affiliated with Stafford race teams.  The drivers are competing in a shoot-out race and also raising money for a variety of charities.  The starting order will be determined by the amount of money raised by each driver.  For a list of drivers participating along with their selected charities or to make a donation please visit https://www.staffordmotorspeedway.com/2018-napa-fall-final-ladies-challenge-entry-list/.

The NAPA Fall Final Weekend continues on Sunday with the popular NAPA Pit Party, a meet and greet with drivers and teams, taking place from 11:00 am to noon on Sunday, September 30.  Feature racing will begin at 1:00 pm with the SK Modifieds® first on track followed by the Late Models, SK Lights, and the Whelen Modified Tour.

With one champion still to be crowned, the SK Lights will be showcased for the first time on Sunday of the NAPA Fall Final.  Two drivers, Marcello Rufrano and Bryan Narducci enter the last event of the season tied in the points standings.  The champion may just be determined on the last lap, don’t miss this one.

Tickets for the 46th Annual NAPA Auto Parts Fall Final Weekend are priced at $40.00 for adult general admission tickets, $5.00 for children ages 6-14, and children ages 5 and under are admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult. Reserved seating is priced at $42.00 for all ages. All NAPA Fall Final tickets are good for admission on both Saturday and Sunday and ticket prices include 10% CT Admission Tax.
