Short Track Tours and Turn 4 Automotive Are Ready to Show Off and Sell at NE Motorsports Expo

NEMST and Street Stock Showdown Machines Will Be on Display in Augusta

The Northeast Motorsports Expo has existed for over three decades to bring racing and automotive fans together indoors to celebrate their favorite sport and pastime in the dead of winter.  Held annually at the Augusta (ME) Civic Center, the show has always been successful in celebrating the diversity of motorsports. Stock car racing fans, drag racing fans, tractor pullers and more all display their machines and attend the show each year.

At this year’s 31st Annual Northeast Motorsports Expo, that diversity might be strongest in one booth as Turn 4 Automotive and Performance, the North East Mini Stock Tour, the Street Stock Showdown Series and the New England Short Track Showdown share one large display where fans can do anything from discussing this season’s upcoming events to buying new safety gear and performance parts for their race machines and street vehicles.

All four entities are owned and managed by motorsports promoter Bob Guptill, who has pulled out all of the stops for this year’s show in order to promote his racing and business interests.

Actually appearing in the display will be a freshly prepared Street Stock from the SSSS, a battle-tested racecar from the NEMST and a highly modified late model street machine.  To find out more about these vehicles, you will have to wait until the show opens to the public at 4:30 pm on Friday afternoon.

NEMST, SSSS and Showdown race officials will be on hand at the show throughout the weekend to discuss anything from rules to season entries to marketing opportunities to the 2019 schedules.  The NEMST and SSSS tours will have a full season of events in 2019 spanning from Bangor, Maine to Richmond, Virginia.

Turn 4 Automotive and Performance will have approximately $20,000 in inventory on the floor at the show.  Special show prices and deals will be available along with very competitive quotes on any specially ordered items.

The Northeast Motorsports Expo takes place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, January 11th-13th at the Augusta Civic Center.  Show tickets are only eight dollars for adults with discounts available for seniors and children.  Kids under the age of five are admitted free.  For more information on the show, be sure to visit Northeastmotorsportsexpo.net or call show promoter Steve Perry at 207-229-1449.
