Kevin Nowak, Nowak Motorsports to Contest Inaugural Bullring Bash Season

Attleboro, MA (January 25, 2019) — Experienced Legends racer Kevin Nowak will join the Bullring Bash Quarter Mile Challenge for its inaugural season, with plans to compete in all three 2019 events. Nowak will be behind the wheel of his familiar #53 Nowak Motorsports car, competing at both White Mountain Motorsports Park and Thunder Road International Speedbowl this summer.

“I just enjoy competing in the Legends class overall and competing for a decent purse payout like the Bullring Bash is offering makes it easier to attend,” said Nowak. “It’s fun racing these cars, and to go to an event like this, it’s going to draw bigger competitors. I’m interested in racing against the guys that have more experience and put on a better show for the fans. To attend an event like this with the prestige and money involved is great, and hopefully, it’s something that can grow in the future with even more tracks and events in other states.”

“Our goal with the Bullring Bash is to attract some of the most talented competitors in short track racing, in both the Modified and Legends classes,” said Bullring Bash founder Josh Vanada. “Having drivers like Kevin come to New England to compete with us proves two things: our structure is strong enough to attract top drivers from outside of the region, and our races will be all-star shows unlike any other this year. We look forward to welcoming Kevin alongside the rest of our top Legends drivers in 2019!”

Based in New York, Nowak has been racing Legends cars for over a decade, with an estimated 300 races under his belt and wins at multiple tracks in the northeast United States including Riverhead Raceway, Wall Stadium Speedway, and Evergreen (PA) Raceway. While Nowak has competed at some of the most familiar short tracks in the country, he will bring his familiar “Herbie the Love Bug” tribute paint scheme to both White Mountain and Thunder Road for the first time in 2019.

“I’ve never been to either facility, but I’ve watched videos of both, and they look like fun,” Nowak explained. “Both of these tracks look similar in size and speed compared to my local track Riverhead Raceway which is also a quarter-mile bullring. So, it relates to what I’ve been racing in Legends cars over the years.”
