Tommy Baldwin Racing Signs Mike Christopher Jr for the Open Modified 80 at Stafford Motor Speedway
January 25, 2019 (Mooresville, NC) – Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) has signed Mike Christopher Jr for the Open Modified 80 at Stafford Motor Speedway in May. Long time partner, Mohawk Northeast, will be the primary sponsor on the No. 7NY Chevrolet.
Mike Christopher Jr, son of modified driver Mike Christopher and nephew of NASCAR Whelen Modified Champion Ted Christopher, has grown up at the race track. Competing full-time in an SK Modified, Christopher Jr is looking to continue the family legacy, especially at Stafford Motor Speedway.
“I’m more than thrilled for the opportunity to race for Tommy Baldwin,” said Mike Christopher Jr. “I grew up watching the No. 7NY racing with Tiger Tom Baldwin behind the wheel, and watched the car through the years with different top tier drivers. To be part of that list of drivers means a lot to me.
