Karting for Kids June 27 at Monza World-Class Karting
The Karting for Kids indoor championship is Thursday at Monza World-Class Karting at Foxwoods Resort Casino. Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series driver Kyle Larson will be attending. Competitors could race against Larson in the finals after a qualifying race. The $100 entry also gets a team photo with Larson, Q&A session, team shirt, and a catered lunch.
For $25, you can watch all the racing, attend the Q&A session and get the catered lunch.
Monza World Class Karting is located inside the Foxwoods Resort Casino, at 350 Trolley Line Boulevard, Mashantucket, CT 06338. The event benefits the Speedway Children’s Charities New Hampshire Chapter.
The New Hampshire Motor Speedway holds New England’s only Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series appearance July 19-21. Foxwoods Resort Casino announced title sponsorship of the 301-lap race last year. The indoor kart track opened in August 2018 and operates from 11AM – 11 PM 7 days a week.
Drivers compete in gas-powered karts. Multiple endurance karting races have been held, including drivers from Seekonk Speedway, as teams. Even the likes of Santino Ferrucci, Brad Keselowski, Joey Logano, and Ryan Preece have turned laps on the multi-level track.
