The Big Show Waits for 2021, New Albany-Saratoga Date Being Explored

MALTA, NY — Brett Hearn’s The Big Show 12 at Albany-Saratoga Speedway originally scheduled for June 23 has been postponed to 2021 because of mass gathering restrictions to help curb the COVID-19 pandemic.

Track and Series officials are working on a new event at Albany-Saratoga Speedway for this season.

“In talking with promoters Brett Hearn and Lyle DeVore, we, unfortunately, have to cancel the Big Show-themed event,” Super DIRTcar Series Director Dean Reynolds said. “However, we will continue to follow the scope on what is going on in New York State with the COVID-19 restrictions, and hope to add a Super DIRTcar Series event at Albany-Saratoga later in the summer.”
