Speed51 To Air 13 Divisions of Racing From Thompson World Series

Thompson, CT — The 58th Annual Sunoco World Series of Speedway Racing takes place at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park (CT) this weekend, bringing together an incredible variety of short track racing.  Fans will be able to watch two days and 13 divisions of racing from this year’s World Series via a pay-per-view broadcast on Speed51.TV.

While the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race will not be aired on the live Speed51.TV broadcast, fans will be able to see all other divisions competing on Saturday and Sunday on Speed51.TV.  A $30 pay-per-view ticket is available for either Saturday or Sunday while a two-day pass is available for $50.

Saturday’s coverage will feature the $5,000-to-win Budweiser Tour-type Modified Open race, as well as 350 Supermodifieds, ACT-type Late Models, NEMA Midgets, the North East Mini Stock Tour and features for Pro 4 Modifieds and the Exit Realty Pro Trucks.

Saturday coverage will begin at approximately 2 p.m. ET with heat racing and qualifying for all Saturday and Sunday divisions.  The live Speed51.TV broadcast will take a brief intermission during NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour qualifying and resuming with feature racing.

Sunday’s coverage will begin at approximately 12:15 p.m. ET and include all feature racing prior to the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour World Series 150.  That racing includes the ISMA Supermodifieds, PASS Super Late Models, Sunoco Modifieds, Limited Sportsman, NEMA Lites and SK Light Modifieds.

The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour portion of the event will air live on NBC TrackPass.
