Fremont Speedway Features Diverse 2022 Schedule

FREMONT, Ohio – The 71st anniversary season of Fremont Speedway will feature 22 events in 2022 including 21 events for the Fort Ball Pizza Palace 410 Sprints, 18 shows for the Fremont Federal Credit Union 305 Sprints, and 17 events for the Burmeister Trophy Dirt Trucks.

“We’ve worked with area tracks and series to put together an entertaining schedule that includes non-wing sprints, all open wheel events, the USAC D2 Midgets for the first time, the steel block late models and of course our tough weekly divisions of 410 sprints, 305 sprints and dirt trucks. All of this wouldn’t be possible without the tremendous support we have received from the fans, race teams, marketing partners and track staff,” said Fremont Speedway Management Team Member Ryan Schiets.

The FloRacing All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 will come to “The Track That Action Built” four times in 2022 including the first two events of the Ohio Sprint Speedweek Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12. The All Stars return to wrap up their season along with the track’s for the 15th Annual Jim and Joanne Ford Classic, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 7 and 8.

The All Pro Aluminum Cylinder Heads-Kistler Racing Products 410 Attica Fremont Championship Series presented by the Baumann Auto Group makes 9 appearances at Fremont in 2022 including some shows paying $4,000 to win.

The Ti22 Performance FAST on Dirt Series comes to Fremont twice in 2022 – May 28 and Aug. 13.

The MPD Racing Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (BOSS) featuring the non-wing sprint cars competes at Fremont Speedway on May 28 and Aug. 13.

The Great Lakes Traditional Sprints – non-wing sprint cars – makes their first ever appearance on July 2.

For the first time ever at Fremont Speedway the USAC D2 Midgets (600s) will compete at Fremont on May 7 and July 23).

The Great Lakes Supper Sprints featuring the 360 c.i. winged warriors will come to Fremont on June 25 and July 30.

Other special events include the annual Fremont Speedway Hall of Fame night with the AFCS 410 and 305 sprints and GLSS 360 sprints in action on June 25. The hall of fame induction ceremonies will take place prior to the night’s racing.

The 305 sprint division will kick off the Sandusky County Fair on Monday, Aug. 22.

The Steel Block Late Model Series will make their second ever appearance at Fremont Speedway on Sept. 17.
