Sandri Energy/Sunoco, Weaver Brothers Construction Join Whitcomb 5 Series Sponsorship Program

GW Promotional Group, founders and operators of the Whitcomb 5 Series, announced today that both Sandri Energy/Sunoco and Weaver Brothers Construction have joined the Whitcomb 5 Series as sponsors for the 2022 season.

Sandri Energy/Sunoco, a supplier of Sunoco Race Fuel for racing action, will sponsor the Autograph Session, now coined as the Sandri Energy/Sunoco Autograph Session. The Autograph Session will take place on race day and give fans the opportunity to meet and greet with the stars of the Whitcomb 5 Series before they battle it out on the track. Drivers who registered prior to this week have their photo and a short biography inside the autograph book, which will be available for purchase at the track on race day.

Weaver Brothers Construction will sponsor the Fastest Lap for the season-opening Whitcomb Classic at Monadnock Speedway on Sunday, May 1. The driver who posts the fastest single lap time in time trial qualifying will be the winner of this special award.

“Our list of supporters just continues to grow for the Whitcomb 5 Series,” Gregg Whitcomb, owner of GW Promotional Group with his wife Jessica, said. “We’re really looking forward to watching all of this play out on the track. We have worked hard over the winter to come up with a great program for race teams and fans and we can’t wait to see the races take place. It’s exciting to know that our first race is now just weeks away, not months.”

Sandri Energy/Sunoco was founded on the principle that offering quality energy products and outstanding customer service would create a successful business. By maintaining that tradition, they have grown and diversified over nearly 90 years of operation. They continue to embrace innovation and always maintain the highest regard for customer satisfaction. They offer services including fuel or HVAC in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. You are encouraged to visit them online at sandri.com or call 800-628-1900 to learn more.

“Sandri Energy/Sunoco is super excited to be part of the Whitcomb 5 Series Autograph Session with the stars of racing,” Erika Young, Vice President of Motor Fuels & Store Operations with Sandri Sunoco, said. “It’s an exciting opportunity for us and for the fans to meet their favorite drivers. We are always happy to sponsor events that bring families, fans and professionals together.”

Weaver Brothers Construction, based in Bow, New Hampshire, has been serving the state of New Hampshire since 1946, as one of the leading road and earthwork contractors. After many years of successful ownership by the Weaver Brothers, in 1994, the Bates brothers – Mark, Peter & Jeff – completed the buyout of the company. Jeff and Peter are the current owners of the firm and have guided work required by the state of New Hampshire for the very ambitious I-93 widening project, and much more.

“The Weaver Brothers and the Whitcomb family have a history,” Peter Bates of Weaver Brothers Construction, said. “This company is dear to my heart. I couldn’t let this opportunity pass without doing something. My youngest son and I have a history in racing… we raced for many years throughout the area, running places like Canaan Fair Speedway… and over time, we decided to go in a different direction. It’s the perfect storm. I think it will be a great thing for all of us. I hope the events turn out great.”

Additional sponsorship opportunities are still available for the Whitcomb 5 Series. Anyone interested can email jessica@gwpromotional.com for more information.
