Truly Hard Seltzer Joins Whitcomb 5 Series Sponsorship Program

GW Promotional Group – promoters of the Whitcomb 5 Series – announced today the addition of Truly Hard Seltzer to the sponsorship program for the 2022 season. Truly Hard Seltzer will become the official sponsor of the on-site podcast and the hospitality suites at all five events. They will also be on the front cover of the Whitcomb Classic programs at the season-opener at Monadnock Speedway on Sunday, May 1.

Truly Hard Seltzer, one of the most recognized brands in the industry, has more than 30 different refreshing styles, having a bit of something for everyone. Made with some simple ingredients and hints of your favorite fruits, Truly is never made with artificial sweeteners or flavors. For more information, visit them on social media or at trulyhardseltzer.com.

“Bringing Truly Hard Seltzer into the sponsorship program for the Whitcomb 5 Series only continues to elevate the series to even greater heights,” Gregg Whitcomb, owner of GW Promotional Group with his wife, Jessica, said. “We have to thank Amoskeag Beverages for their support. All of our dedicated sponsors are going to help us pay some really incredible purses to the NHSTRA Modified division at some of New Hampshire’s best short tracks. We’re really excited to get everything going on May 1st at Monadnock. It’s been a long offseason of work by our entire team and the racing on the track can’t come soon enough.”

Amoskeag Beverages serves the entire state of New Hampshire and is the largest beverage wholesaler in the state selling over 7.5 million cases of beer and Red Bull annually. Currently employing over 300 people and servicing over 3,000 accounts, Amoskeag has a diverse portfolio of products which include suppliers MolsonCoors, Boston Beer, Constellation, Mark Anthony Brands, and Diageo Guinness USA. Amoskeag also represents a variety of craft beers, ciders, seltzers, and imports, as well as the number one selling energy drink, Red Bull.

“Amoskeag Beverages is excited to partner with the Whitcomb 5 Series for the 2022 season,” Mike Lianza, Marketing Director with Amoskeag Beverages, said. “Racing has a long history in New Hampshire, specifically at short-tracks, where the Whitcomb 5 Series will run. We’re excited to bring a brand like Truly directly to this part of the race community.”

The entry list for the Whitcomb 5 Series continues to grow as the events draw closer. Former NASCAR New Hampshire state champion Brian Robie, Modified standout and former Monaco Modified Tri Track Series winner Sam Rameau, and multiple-time NHSTRA Modified winner and Mini Stock champion Matthew Kimball are just a few of the names on the list.

Ben Byrne, a former winner in the division, has also entered. They are joined by names like Tyler Leary, Brian Chapin, Zach Leone, Tyler Jarvenpaa, Geoff Rollins, Steven Dickey, Jesse Jakubajtys, Nathan Wenzel, Kimmy Rivet, and many more.

The Whitcomb 5 Series begins with the Whitcomb Classic at Monadnock Speedway on Sunday, May 1, set for 125 laps. It will continue at Claremont Motorsports Park on Friday, June 17, and Lee USA Speedway on Friday, July 15 – a night where the Granite State Pro Stock Series will also join the card – with NASCAR Cup Series stars Tyler Reddick and Corey LaJoie in the field. On Sunday, August 14, the Whitcomb 5 Series competitors will hit the high-banks of Hudson Speedway, while the series concludes on September 16-17, right back at Monadnock, where the champion will be crowned. All five races will pay at least $4,000 to the winner. The champion of the series will earn a minimum of $10,000 for their efforts.

A full day of racing at Monadnock on Sunday, May 1, will include the first drop of the green flag for qualifying at 2 p.m. The Whitcomb 5 Series Autograph Session will take place at 3 p.m., followed by the start of the 125-lap race. More details including a full schedule and full entry list will come closer to the event.
