William R. Weldy-fondly known as “Lee”, 60, passed away suddenly in Exeter Hospital May 26, 2023. He was born April 8, 1963, in Haverhill, MA, son of Norman Weldy Jr. and Virginia (Uhlman) Weldy.

Husband, dad, uncle, grandfather. Great grandfather, stepfather, son, brother & friend to many.

He leaves behind a loving wife of 22 years Sharon Weldy, 2 daughters and their husbands Leighanne & Bobby Cameron, Erica & Joey Filippone & 3 step-children Danielle Kenney, Jennifer Langdon & Amanda Langdon, sisters Rhonda Crespo, Donna Boucher & husband Roland Boucher, brothers Michael Sullivan & wife Madeline Sullivan, & Fred Weldy & his wife, Cheryl, 12 grandkids and 2 great grandkids, step Mother Linda Weldy & was predeceased by his father Norman E Weldy Jr, mother Virginia Uhlman, his brother Norman E Weldy III & sister Nancy Weldy. Lee attended 4 years of School in Exeter High last six weeks of 12th Grade -graduated Raymond, NH

Lee was defined by many things, but perhaps most notably his continued selflessness and dedication to all three families of the American Legion that he was a member of; A lifetime Legionnaire, a Son of the American Legion, and an American Legion rider. He was a pillar of Post 90 in Raymond NH, where he combined many of his loves; spending time with family and friends, riding his motorcycle, talking about his days of racing at Lee Speedway, Hudson Speedway, and Star speedways, the prior & upcoming Watercross events with Northeast Water Cross Championship that he helped get approved, his next vacation, and many of the other things that he tirelessly dedicated himself to. He loved his 2 dogs Natasha and Jager.

He will be missed by so many who knew & loved him

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 31st from 4 pm to 7 pm at Brewitt Funeral Home, Raymond, NH. Services will be held June 11th at 3 pm, at the Hurd-Welch American Legion Post# 90, 32C Harriman Hill Rd., Raymond, NH followed by a celebration of life
