Delaware International Speedway Back to Life Thursday, Aug. 10

DELMAR, DE – Delaware International Speedway fires back to life this Thursday, Aug. 10 headlined by the Millman’s NAPA Auto Parts big-block/small-block Modifieds.

Racing for the first time since June 30, the half-mile oval roars to life, with the Modifieds racing 30 laps for a $4,000 winner’s share.

Georgetown, Del.’s Carson Wright took home an upset victory back in June, the last time the speedway held racing.

Milford, Del.’s Jordan Watson leads the Millman’s NAPA Modifieds into the Aug. 10 event by 28 markers over Neshanic Station, N.J.’s Matt Stangle. Milford, Del.’s Joseph Watson rounds out the top three, 63 points behind his brother Jordan.

The Blue Hen Dispose-All Crate 602 Sportsman join the Thursday night affair as well, as Upper Makefield, Pa.’s Joe Toth leads the standings by 25 markers over Laurel, Del.’s Jordn Justice.

Justice was the winner the last time the Crate 602 Sportsman were in action at the half-mile oval.

Little Lincolns, Delaware Super Trucks, and Delmarva Chargers round out the program with 12-lap, features only events.

Gates open at 4:30 p.m. One ticket booth will open at 3 p.m. for early pit admission. Hot laps begin at 6:30 p.m., with racing at 7:15 p.m.

Admission is $25 (Adults), $20 for Seniors (ages 65 and up) & Students (ages 13-17). Kids (ages 9-12) pay $10 and Children 8 and under are FREE.

Pit admission is $40 (Non-Members), $35 (NASCAR Members), $10 Kids (ages 6-12) and $2 for Children (ages 5 and under).
