Vermont Motorsports Expo Set for April 2024 in Barre
B.O.R. Arena to host racing season preview
BARRE, Vermont (November 26, 2023) – The Green Mountain State now has an official kickoff party for the racing season. The inaugural Vermont Motorsports Expo will be held at the B.O.R. Arena in Barre on the weekend of April 5-7, 2024, bringing together fans and competitors from all forms of racing to ring in a new year of action.
Vermont and its surrounding regions are home to a broad spectrum of motorsport varieties, and they all will gather in one place at the Expo. Fans of asphalt and dirt track stock car racing, motocross, karting, snowmobiles, drag racing, truck and tractor pulling, and more will have a three-day event to get their blood pumping.
The host site, the B.O.R. Arena, is the municipal hockey facility adjacent to the historic Barre Auditorium in Downtown Barre, Vermont. The Expo event opens on the afternoon of Friday, April 5, and runs through the evening of Sunday, April 7, giving racing enthusiasts plenty of opportunities to check out the cars and meet the stars before they fight for wins on the track.
“There has not been a season preview show for race fans in Vermont in about 25 years, and it’s time to bring that tradition back,” said Vermont Motorsports Expo promoter Justin St. Louis. “I remember being a kid and seeing the machines up close, smelling the fresh paint, getting autograph cards from the drivers, and feeling the butterflies in my stomach anticipating the new season. I want kids and their families to get that same feeling at the Expo show in April and get ready to support all the great racing that Vermont and the Northeast have to offer.”
Details including show times, ticket pricing, display booth rentals, and much more will be announced in the coming weeks and months. Commitments from several drivers, tracks, and organizations have already been received, and dozens more are anticipated.
