Glenn Strunk Passes Away

Glenn G Strunk, 53, of Bechtelsville Pennsylvania passed away peacefully in his home on February 2nd after fighting a long two-and-a-half-year battle with lung cancer. Glenn was born on November 26, 1970, in Pottstown Pennsylvania, and raised in Bechtelsville. He was a very hard worker, doing a variety of jobs like carpentry, landscaping, construction, woodwork, and more.

Glenn’s passion was dirt car racing, starting at 9 years old in go-karts and working his way to modified stock cars. Throughout his career in racing Glenn had won many races, but more importantly met many different people who would become an important part of his life, his “racing family”.

At the end of the day though, Glenn’s pride and joy was his daughter Carlee. He was said to always be talking about how proud he was of her and her successes.

In addition to his daughter Carlee, Glenn is survived by his father Robert C. Strunk, and his partner Lisa Schell Christman of Bechtelsville; Glenn’s girlfriend Crystal O’Malley of Bechtelsville; many aunts, uncles, cousins; and his racing family.
Glenn is predeceased by his grandparents Carl and Edna Strunk; and Alverda Hausman.

A celebration of life will be held for individuals wishing to pay their respects and remember Glenn.
