Série ACT Quebec Geared for Growth in 2024

Barre, VT & Quebec City, QC — After a popular return to competition in 2023, co-promoters André Poulin and Howard Romanado are gearing up for an exciting year two with the rekindled Série ACT Quebec. Expanded to twelve events in 2024, Série ACT Quebec will also host two combination events with the US-based American-Canadian Tour for an exciting clash between the international stars!

In their first year behind the wheel, Poulin and Romanado piloted a 10-race schedule that saw five drivers take their first ACT-sanctioned victory. Forty-four different drivers entered Série ACT Quebec events in 2023 with seven different winners and a new champion in St-Joseph’s Raphaël Lessard taking the cup in the iconic Larue Motorsports #48QC.

While many of the principal players from 2023 will return, the upcoming season is dotted with plenty of new faces vying for Rookie of the Year honors. Several drivers, including Mirabel’s Felix Gratton, Quebec City’s Stéphane Fournier and St-Joseph’s Sylvain Labbé are all moving up from the Série Sportsman Quebec while St-Raymond’s Maxime Bernard is stepping up from the popular NASCAR Vintage division at Autodrome Chaudiere.

Série ACT Quebec will once again contest its schedule between the popular Quebec ovals at Autodrome Chaudiere and Autodrome Montmagny while also hosting combination races with the American-Canadian Tour with the Claude Leclerc 150 and the CAN-AM 200.

“André and I would like to thank all the fans, drivers, and sponsors that made our first year a great success being sanctioned and working with ACT has been a positive move for all,” said Série ACT Quebec co-promoter Howard Romanado. “2024 will feature tough competition between our regulars and the talented rookies joining the series, both us and our series sponsor XPN are looking forward to more side-by-side, door-to-door, hub-to-hub action at every race this season!

The American-Canadian Tour begins year forty-six on New England’s biggest stage with the 4th annual Northeast Classic at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday, April 13. The five-division rundown the Pro All Stars Series Super Late Models, the Tour-type Modified Open and more in this can’t miss show!

Série ACT Quebec begins their 2024 season with the Centre du “PICK-UP” Vallée-Jonction 150 at Autodrome Chaudiere on Saturday, May 11 with a five-division showcase that also opens the track championship season at the lightning-quick Beauce bullring.
