Edward Pacheco Passes Away

Edward Pacheco

Edward Pacheco, 64, of Fall River, husband of Kathleen (Briggs) Pacheco, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 15, 2024, in the comforts of his home surrounded by his family following a long illness.

Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late Manuel T. Pacheco and the late Mariana C. (Carvalho) Pacheco.

Prior to his retirement due to illness, he worked as a Corvette Specialist for Corvettes & Classics for many years. Eddie was an expert in auto mechanics and enjoyed spending time in his garage fixing up his cars and cruising in his Lamborghini. Eddie’s passion in life was music, playing guitar with the Jorge Ferreira Band, Marc Dennis and Atlantys, Centerfold, and many more, captivating audiences with his charisma and talent. His music career gave him the ability to travel the world, visiting countries including Venezuela, South Africa, France, and Portugal. Eddie touched the lives of many with his music, inspiring his fellow musicians on their path to fame, teaching his brother and daughter to play the piano, and encouraging his granddaughter’s love for music as she now learns to play piano as well. Eddie also enjoyed stock car racing at Seekonk Speedway and continued to race RC cars with his friends every week throughout his life. A “jack of all trades”, he not only was highly knowledgeable in auto repair but in carpentry, building his beautiful and unique home himself.

Besides his devoted wife of forty years, he leaves his loving daughter, Alexa Lee Pacheco and her fiancé, Alex Welch, of Fall River; his precious granddaughter, Meadow Rain Welch; his sister, Mary T. Miranda (late husband, John F.) of Fall River; two brothers, Manuel Pacheco, Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Westport, and Daniel Pacheco and his wife, Cynthia, of Tiverton; and many nieces and nephews.
