Stafford Springs, CT — The Coors Light SK Modified® 100 program at Stafford Motor Speedway was postponed to next Friday night, June 13th due to a heavy fog and mist that rolled in over the track, with rain checks being honored next Friday night. The 30-lap Late Model make-up feature from May 23rd that was originally scheduled to run next Friday night, June 13th will kick off the night’s action with the remaining feature events from the June 6th Coors Light SK Modified® 100 racing card, which consists of the Coors Light SK Modified® 100, a 30-lap Late Model features, a 20-lap Limited Late Model feature, and a 15-lap DARE Stock feature event, to fill out the night’ s on-track program. The 20-lap SK Light Modified feature saw Chris Matthews drive to his third win of the season in four events. Heather DesRochers took the lead at the green and held the lead in the early laps before giving way to Tony Santangelo. Santangelo held the lead until a restart on lap-14 when Neil Provost, Jr. took over the top spot. Provost held the lead until he got out of shape on lap-18, which allowed Santangelo to move back out front. The next lap saw Matthews overtake Santangelo for the lead. Santangelo gave Matthews a run on the final lap, but could not get by as Matthews took the checkered flag. Rounding out the top-5 behind Matthews and Santangelo was Ted Cain, George Nocera, Jr., and Raymond Grassetti.

In the Late Model 16 feature event, Scott Cook led the first 14 laps of the race until he and Ryan Posocco made contact at the front of the pack on lap-15, handing the lead over to Don Acker, Jr. Acker took the checkered flag after a green white checkered restart ahead of Patrick Townsend, Brian Chapin, Mark St. Hilaire, and Joe Perry.
