Little DCRP Opener Cut Short by Inclement Weather
DODGE CITY, Kan. (May 5, 2019) – With the first set of Little DCRP heat races in the books, the balance of Sunday’s inaugural event atop the newly-constructed 1/7-mile clay oval was cut short by threatening weather.
With track prep under way for the qualifying races for the 56 Micro Sprints and Karts on hand, tornadic activity to the west of the track and approaching severe thunderstorms forced the cancellation of the balance of the card.
Pit passes will be good for the next Little DCRP event on Sunday, May 19, or any ensuing Little DCRP event.
