Scott Ouellette Passes Away at 60

Sunday, December 4th, 1960 – Tuesday, July 20th, 2021

Scott D. Ouellette, 60, of Enfield, beloved husband of just shy of 40 years to Elaine (Couzelis ) Ouellette, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Hartford on December 4, 1960, the son of the late Lester and Jacqueline (Baker) Ouellette. Scott was a purchasing agent for Ahlstrom, formerly Dexter Manufacturing for over 40 years. Outside of work his greatest passion was auto racing. He toured the Northeast as the crew chief of Dan Avery Racing. His second passion was flying as a licensed private pilot. Scott was active in a number of sports including snowmobiling, golfing, and bowling. He was also an avid outdoorsman.

In addition to his beloved wife Elaine, Scott is survived by his children, Daniel and his wife Miranda of South Hadley, MA, and Liz Mathieson and her husband Andrew of Pocasset, MA; his brother, David Ouellette and his wife Maureen of Enfield, his aunt Sue Burbank and her husband Mark of Southington, and many cousins and dear friends.

Scott’s family will receive friends on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 1 – 4 PM at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A Graveside Service will take place at 1 pm on Monday, July 26 at Enfield Street Cemetery, Rt. 5, Enfield.
