Virginia Hudson Passes at 83
Mrs. Virginia Hudson, the mother of Seekonk Speedway Starter Rocky Hudson, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2007 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Viewing will be held on Sunday Oct 21 from 4pm – 8pm at the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, located at 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick RI.
Funeral services will be held on Monday Oct 22nd at 9am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home with funeral Mass following at 10am @ St. Kevins Church on Sandy Lane, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Hudson, Virginia, M., (Austin), 83, of Warwick, died Thursday, October 18, 2007 at home. A lifelong Warwick resident, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Marie (Kelly) Austin. Virginia was employed as a lunch aide for the School Lunch Program in Warwick before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Kevin Church and a life member of the Oakland Beach Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Virginia was the devoted mother of John T. Hudson, Marie Ann Langhoff and Kenneth A. “Rocky” Hudson. Sister of Beverly Reed, Harold and Walter Austin. She also leaves her 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
