Seuss Claims First Win Of The Season at Lee

Lee, NH — Andy Seuss of Hampstead, N. H won his True Value Modified Racing Series of the 2007 season at the Lee USA Speedway Oktoberfest. Seuss passed 2007 series Champions Kirk Alexander with three laps remaining. Alexander, who had led from lap 21, had a tire go flat while leading.

“It’s been tough at times this season”, said Seuss. “I’m just glad we could have a strong run to end the year.”

It was the third career series win for Seuss. The youth movement on the True Value Modified Racing Series was in evidence as Mike Douglass, Jr. of Auburn, N. H. and Chris Pasteryak of Lisbon, Conn. joined Seuss on the all “twenty something” podium.

Douglas and Pasteryak secured their positions on the final lap as they both passed Jack Bateman in a wild final lap.

Todd Owen of Somers, Conn. and Ed Dachenhausen of Danbury, Conn. rounded out the Top-5.

The next event for the True Value Modified Racing Series will be the annual Awards Banquet in December.
